My business interview was with Cassie Carter, QLN Conference Center, about the conference center and how local small business owners can use the center. I also discussed the use of Facebook profiles for business.

The conference center has several space configurations allowing it’s use for many types of events. The center also offers WIFI for those looking to use the Internet in a presentation or as an instructional tool.

On Friday, October 2, 2009 I interviewed Joe Voss, North County Acupuncture, about his business, the history of acupuncture and how it works. He also offered advice for protecting ourselves from the upcoming flu season.

I also had the opportunity to chat with Mike Dutton, Superior Message Center, about how he researched niches and markets his business to that niche. He gave several tips about direct mail marketing, niche development and a few other gems.

The North San Diego County business community welcomed 6 Degrees San Diego to the Sheraton, above Legoland July 15th. Matt Greene recently expanded 6 Degrees San Diego to North County.

On Wednesday, August 21st The Lund Team will host the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Sundowner at their facilities located at 6114 Innovation Way in Carlsbad’s Bressi Ranch.

During the luau, the tropical artwork of renowned local artist Wade Koniakowsky will be on display for everyone’s enjoyment. Attendees are encouraged to dress in Hawaiian attire.

Enjoy a margarita and Hawaiian music while making future business connections at the chamber’s Sundowner. The event will be sure to please with plenty of food, drinks, raffle prizes and lots of networking!

I had a chance to sit down with Toni Padron at the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce to discuss how the Chamber can benefit solopreneurs.

The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce is holding it’s business networking Sundowner this Wednesday evening, March 19th at the new Sheraton Resort at the top of Cannon, just between Faraday and Legoland.
