Today I’ll be interviewing Christianna Connell and Jeune Ortiz of future-ink about search engine optimization and QR Codes. It will be fast and furious…and loaded with information.

future-ink is a full-service firm specializing in web design, online marketing, SEO and social media. Christianna Connell, is the President of future ink. Not only is Christianna is one of the first people you’ll speak with when you call our office, she is also an accomplished web and database programmer. She has a BS in Computer Information Science and act as a liaison between our programmers and clients. In other words, she speaks fluent “geek” so our clients don’t have to. Christianna is a frequent speaker, and educator. She is currently the instructor for SCORE’s “Internet Marketing 201: Build Your Business Through Search Engine Optimization” workshop.

Jeune Ortiz, Marketing Director/Senior Web Designer, has more than 20 years graphic and web design experience. Jeune’s strong background in traditional and internet marketing have inspired her create  flexible, results-oriented e-marketing strategies for our clients. Jeune is also a frequent speaker on topics such as social media marketing and conversion optimization for website design.

As solopreneurs we know that leveraging our business on the Internet is a good way to diversify. I’m a fan of Google and it’s products. Recently I discovered how to add my business to Google’s Local Business Map Directory, including being able to offer coupons.

Google has a feature that will let you list your local business on Google. it’s an easy, step through process that will list your site with a Google Map reference.

You should look into grabbing your listing at Google before it gets hijacked. Here is an article that explains the process of hijacking your Google listing.
